Emily Minkowitz, Architectural Associate

“I truly appreciate everything it takes to cohesively conceptualize and construct a building. We spend the majority of our lives within buildings, we shouldn’t take them for granted.”

- Emily Minkowitz

Emily has 3+ years of experience at RG Architects P.A, she has completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Architecture from the University at Buffalo (‘18) as well as her Master’s in Architecture from The Ohio State University (’20). She has gained a variety of skills of which range from conceptual design to woodworking, 3D printing, or laser cutting architectural models. She is able to take an initial idea and translate it in 2D and 3D representations to be visualized using computational design software.

During her education she has been exposed to working with people within her community that have aided in shaping the way she thinks about and executes design.

Emily is driven to architecture because of the diverse integration of fields and knowledge, which results in a built structure to be used every day by the community. She enjoys working through the ins and outs of a project and contributing to the way we can interact with the built environment.
