Carla Ortega is a hardworking enthusiastic individual at RG Architects, she enjoys all the phases of design from schematic drawing to completion, as every phase is an opportunity for improvement. As a architectural Staff, one of her roles is to smooth the drawings production process.

With 2+ years of experience at RG Architects, Carla has collaborated in projects of small, medium, and large scale. She understands that architecture plays a big role in people’s everyday life and therefore, she is always exploring how can the design be surpassing of the client’s basic needs.

Carla’s interest in architecture was sparked by exploring the stories hidden in the historic architecture of big cities across the world. As a student, she spent a summer studying abroad in Florence, Italy, living, learning, and finding inspiration in the capital of the Renaissance.

Carla is a natural problem solver and loves to help clients find new, creative ways to use their space. She believes versatility is key for the sustainability of the built environment.

Away from the office, she loves to cook, travel, and explore her passion for architecture, visiting buildings by architects that she admires. A Division 1 athlete during her undergraduate Architecture studies, Carla still finds time to enjoy playing sports.
